I’m a stickler for sound quality …

Speakers and space are two forces always at odds with one another. 

As a teenager I used to love the big speakers my friends and I would have in our basements. But now I live in a studio apartment, and big speakers aren't worth the space or getting noise complaints from neighbors.

That doesn't mean I want to compromise on sound, though.
